| | Hello everyone - this is Walter Duckworth - better known as What the Duck reporting live from Davis Love Story Workshop. Once again, I failed to blog again last night and again I blame all the other attendees for shooting late into the night. Don't they realize us ducks need at least 12 hrs of beauty sleep?!? Any ways, just when you thought a workshop couldn't get any better, the Davis team kicked it up another notch by taking us to the Schaumburg Regional Airport (I'm still trying to figure out how they pulled this off) and spent the entire afternoon shooting old war planes, helicopters, private jets and more! I can't wait to share more about it!!!
Here's Bob & Dawn at the studio explaining to us what we are doing. Everyone, including Dawn, is getting all giddy about the idea of shooting airplanes.
Woo.... check out his camera. Gotta get me one of those...Ok Walter, pay attention. I'm pretty sure Bob's going over something important...
Finally, they got me a duck-size sandwich. Yum!!! We all sat around and had lunch before the shoot. Thx to Jimmy John's for another speedy delivery!
Then we headed to the airport. I immediately became friends with this bear. I forgot his name. I'll call him Charlie.
At ease ladies... it's just me....
We get to shoot that?!? What the.... and they are landing just for us!! WOwser...
I got to play air traffic control directing the planes.... this way boys!
Talk about upclose and personal...these are the real planes from the WWI era! wow!
Got to chill with the pilot for a bit... berry niicceee ~
 Look, we match!
Look at our super gorgeous models ready to rock out the session...

Here's one of the pilots talking to us about the planes...
I'm getting pretty good at this self-timer feature. Hee hee...quack, hee.. hee....
Ellie & Michael experimenting with light. Why don't you guys just ask me to model so you both can practice?!
Here's Elisa trying to be subliminally patriotic...
M M my, what have we here Bob?!?
I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America....
I'm in love with our models...Woot!!!

Here's Scott having a good time with Kelly...
Waiting for Kelly's boyfriend Ben to arrive. I filled in for him until he came to join us.
Check out this angle... Berry Nicccceeee~ Bob learned this angle from me. But I actually stole this idea from our good photographer friend Kristie Blake. hee hee...
Check out the quality of light!!!
Trying out different angles and perspectives....
Naw, I much prefer getting down and low. Hanging out with Bob again - using him as my human tripod. Hold still Bob!!!
 Woo.... check out this bird...
Duck to the base station...do you copy?!
Look at this stud!!!! --- Wait, that was Dawn, not me guys. This is what happens when you step away from the computer to take a potty break!!!
We got to shoot on the runway. How cool is that?!
Look at all the attendees shooting away. Man this was like a playground for photographers!!!
Here's Bob setting up the next shot. Woo, I wonder what he's going to do....
BAM!!!! Would you look at that?!
Caught these two love birds having their moment :)
I got to go for a spin on this pretty bird! Woo hoo!!!!
I'm getting tired of telling people this - folks, ducks do not know how to fly! Why do you keep doing thiiiissssssssssssssss!?!?
Ouch. I think I cracked my beak.
Ok that was fun. Can we do it again?!
Everyone is glad I'm ok. Cara doesn't like to be in front of the camera too much...
Ok back to shooting more cool planes. I love this job. :)
Getting ready for take off. Please don't drop me again...
 And we're off!!!
Woo hoo, what a fun day! Taking a quick break before doing more shooting...
It was Ed Weiland's grandpa's 90th birthday. He got to celebrate in style! Good times!
 That lucky chopper...
Hmm, so this is what the REALLY meant by Davis LOVE story. Berry Niccccceeee. Click, click, click, click.....
Thank you so much Bob & Dawn and everyone else for this awesome day at the airport. I can't wait to check out all the images that everyone else captured today. I am off to our last day of the workshop. It's going to be sad saying good bye to everyone.
